Among the eight branches of Ayurveda, Kaumarabrithya deals with diverse ailments of children (ailments one year to sixteen years of age) and its therapies. KMCT Ayurveda College has a full fledged department of Kaumarabrithya offering effectual healing for most of the diseases of children. This department offers therapies for the general well being as well.

1. Swarna Prashana
This treatment helps to enhance the immunity of children.  The intake of gold “Swarna Prashana (Suvarna rashana)” is one of the vital Sanskars (regimens) described for enhancing the entire health conditions of children.  KMCT Ayurveda hospital uses Swarna Vacha and different Medhya Dravyas and it is practiced on Pushya Nakshatra Day.
2. Navjata Shishu Paricharya(NEONATAL CARE)
Care of the new born babies is described as “Navjata Shishu Paricharya". The department offers methods like Abhyanga, Snana and other
customary Aurvedic procedures like Swarna Prashana for the health of infant kids.
3. General health evaluation
The department has facilities for check up and evaluation of general health of children by measurement of growth parameters such as head circumference, height, weight etc.
Above and beyond this, the department offers the following as well:
1. Speech therapy
2. Occupational therapy
3. Physiotherapy
4. Psychological evaluation/counselling

OPD

  • Affordable OPD treatment is given to public.
  • Six days OPD per week
  • Minimum of 15-20 patients per day getting treatments
  • Treatments for respiratory allergies, bronchial asthma, malnutrition related problems, skin disorders, gastrointestinal problems are provided.
  • Treatments for neurological and developmental disorders like cerebral palsy, autism, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, mental retardation, language disorders and learning disability are provided.

  • IPD treatments for recurrent and severe respiratory tract infections, skin problems
